I saw on here to water 2 inches per week. So I measured 2 inches of water into an empty bucket I didn’t use, and then poured that water into a watering bucket to visually see how much to fill it per plant. I give them the 2 inches of water once a week, all at once. If water doesn’t drain out the bottom hole after a few minutes I give them more until it does. I live in middle Tennessee and the highs a typically in the 90s. However, it is very humid here. Mine are growing like weeds, do not wilt, and have not yet dropped leaves from over watering. We get a fair amount of rain here and the plants get that water too as I am not covering the buckets to block rain water. The high humidity may help prevent wilting, but with it we regularly have heat indexes well about 110 degrees. Mine are on my deck and only get direct sunlight from sunrise until around noon.
